Meet Mr. Steven Reiss

Before coming to Northbrook High School, he was the Head Director at Athens Middle School in Athens ISD. Prior to that, he taught at Palestine High School and Palestine Junior High.

Mr. Reiss is a native of La Porte, TX, graduating in 2008 from La Porte High School. He then received a Bachelor degree and Master degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. 

 

While at SFASU, he performed with the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, SFASU Percussion Ensemble, the Jacks of Steel, Swinging Axes, the Roarin' Buzzsaw Pep Band and the Lumberjack Marching Band.

 

 

When not at work, Mr. Reiss loves spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and his German Shepherd, Lucy, as well as playing disc golf, video games and his drum set.
